As a Senior Finished Artist at Rare you’ll work within brand guidelines to create finished art – with some design and layout work – for our broad range of clients across print and digital-based collateral. It goes without saying the job calls for an impeccable eye for detail and a strong foundation of finished art.

  • Work closely with the Studio and Traffic mangers to receive briefs and turn work around quickly
  • Develop artwork across a range of collateral
  • Create accurate finished art, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Work to tight deadlines under high pressure
  • Manage time and quality of execution of multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure planning schedules run smoothly
  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality of the work.

Who we’re looking for

You’re an experienced Studio Mac Artist with at least five years’ experience in a similar role. A multi-tasker with a go-getter, can-do attitude. And a nice human being. Still with us? Read on.

  • 5+ years of diverse production experience (while the role is primarily a finished artist role, there will be an option to integrate into creative/digital)
  • Experience creating assets for digital applications
  • An excellent understanding of print pre-press
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Good understanding of branding and working with brand style guides
  • The enthusiasm and drive to produce great work and learn new skills
  • Some agency experience – preferred but not essential
  • The confidence to act autonomously
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Excellent attention to detail and the drive to deliver work to the highest standard
  • A strong production foundation with a willingness to learn
  • Highly developed skills in Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), Powerpoint, Word and Sketch
  • The confidence to embrace the challenge of working with award-winning creatives
  • A passion for typography and design.
